Why this site exists

I wanted reviews that sounded like somebody actually opened the bag.

I buy some of the flower reviewed here from local smoke shops in Austin, Texas, and I sometimes order products online. When I personally try something, the review says so. When an article is based on documents, lab reports, or public product information instead, it is labeled as research or an audit.

The goal is straightforward: document what I noticed, link the evidence behind factual claims, and give readers enough detail to decide whether a product sounds right for them.

01

Hands-on means hands-on

I do not write personal tasting notes for products I did not use.

02

Original photos matter

When I have useful personal photos, they appear with the review.

03

Research gets linked

Legal, laboratory, safety, and product claims should point to the relevant source.

04

Affiliate scores stay independent

A commission does not turn an average product into a nine.

What I look at

More than potency.

I pay attention to appearance, aroma, flavor, smoke, effects, product consistency, value, batch information, and the available lab trail. The exact balance depends on what I am reviewing.
